Old Friends, New Babies

I think we can say this is a SUCCESS!!!

Today Emma and I got together with some friends from High School that live in town and ones that were here visiting.  It was so wonderful seeing them all and meeting some of their kids for the first time (although Facebook makes you feel like you know them).  They are all the cutest and sweetest little kids!!

 One of the boys, Chase, brought a McQueen backback filled with cars.  He was SUPER SUPER sweet and let all the kids, er, I mean Emma the possessive car girl play with them!  He took two and then let her play with them the rest of the day!

 This is Shireen's little boy.  He is checking out the rain that Irene has sent us!

 I think these are pretty successful for 10 kids under 3!  (2 were about 3.5 and the rest were under 2!!)

Getting together today was wonderful in so many ways!  It was so much fun to see all our little ones in the same room playing.  We have done this before with a some others when we have been in town and it just brings back so many wonderful memories of our childhood.  Today also brought some sad but happy memories of our friend Kelly.  As Michelle worded it in an email inviting us all to get together Kelly may not be here with us but she was there in spirit for sure.

Summer 2009- A very Mini Reunion with Kelly, Elliot, Lisa, Miles, Luke, Emma and myself- 

 

We had such a wonderful day seeing all of my old friends and all of their babies!  We had such a great time that the real time got away from us and I decided to not give Emma a nap at 2:30 because she would be up to midnight so Liam went down at 5:15 and there was finally silence from Emma at 6:15!  AHHH the sound of SILENCE:)   

Now Mommy is off to watch Big Brother!
