That time of year...

Sleep or Lack of Sleep

Oh sweet little William,
You like to keep me guessing on what I will get... sleep or a lack of sleep each night!  You go to bed without a fight (NO paci!! YAY).  If daddy is here he HAS to put you to bed or you scream until he comes and covers you up!  You sleep until the morning ... It is either somewhere between 4:15-5 (not acceptable here!) or the following day 7:30 or later???  So every other day I could sleep in if I wasn't meeting up with Aunt Kim.  I am not sure what the deal is...  But something is not making you happy revery other AM... maybe it is how you sleep????

Seriously how does he sleep like this??

 We will get back on track just for the time change buddy and then there will be a new challenge:)

Besides these random wake ups that have been going on the past week you sleep 6:30-???  and then usually nap 12:30-3:30 or later so I can't complain about your sleep but just wish I knew why you were waking so unhappy this week....  molars????

20 months old!

I can hardly believe that this little guy is 20 months!  He changes so much everyday it is crazy!  I know I have not done these monthly but felt like doing it this month:)

Liam wears anything from 12months-2t:)  Wide range!  He has short little legs and a tiny skinny tummy so pants are a struggle!  He eats a ton but is so active he just runs it off!!  Liam, you are a typical toddler... a great eater when you want to be and when it is not interfering with what you want to do!

Really has become a daddy's boy the last week or so!  He cries as soon as he is out of sight!  See below to maybe why:)  He can pull daddy's heartstrings!!!

Sleep.... Well you have gone from sleeping until 7 or later to waking at 5:30.... ummm I don't think so:)  Luck you for you mommy is out of the house by then so daddy will get you up.  If mommy is here you stay in there until 6:)  I can sleep through the cries and screams!  You go to bed between 6 and 6:30 but with these early wake up times it might become 5:30/6 soon!

Liam honestly has the best facial expressions.  When we see any truck you would think he is seeing a space shuttle with how excited he gets!  I just love it!!

You love cars, dogs and running.... anything Emma does you want to do!  You copy everything she does!!!!  That is not always a good thing!  When the two of you get along it is great and the house is filled with loud laughter but when you decide to turn and bite her... well the City hears the screams and cries!  Your sister is a bit lot on the dramatic side and you are picking up on it!!!

Maybe you have learned how to be dramactic from Emma!!!  This was seconds after you were running to the cow with a smile on your face.  The cow "moooed" and this was your reaction!!

Last week we had your first playdate with "your" friend.  You did good but Emma decided she wanted the other little boy to have EVERYTHING you had and that did not always make you so happy!!!
Tomorrow we are starting a Toddler Time Gym play class with the same little boy and a little girl, her sister is in school with Emma.  They are both around the same age and will all be in school together.  It will just be mommy and you because Emma will be in school!!!  I am excited for you to get to play with some kids your age!!

You are REALLY starting to say some words!  It is strange because Emma was 26 months before "talking".  To others you may be starting late but compared to Emma it is early:)

Beautiful...

That is really the only word that is needed to describe the wedding of one of my closest friends.  The weather was beautiful, the reception was beautiful, the bride and the dress were beautiful.  They whole day was just a beautiful day!

I only took a few pictures and now that some have leaked onto facebook I feel like I can post some of the beautiful dress and the beautiful bride.  I can't wait to see more from the photographer(she also did my wedding and the pictures are... BEAUTIFUL- what other word would I use:)!!!)

BIG Changes here!!!

This stroller in showing BIG changes in this house....

There is NO LONGER a baby... The stroller is empty because my baby wants to run run run!  He wants to do EVERYTHING his older sister is doing!  Therefore that means mommy is pushing an empty stroller and chasing a wild man:)

Daddy got to experience the toddler on the loose at the mall this weekend (if I hadn't kicked Emma out of the stroller she would still be sitting in it).  He did such a good job staying with us they both got a Carousel ride- a first for Liam.  He usually just got to watch Emma!

Today was the perfect fall day for a trip to the zoo.  It was great.  All the animals were on the move... as was Liam:)  They did great!

 

He was beyond excited to see EVERY animal and has the BEST facial expressions when seeing them!

When we walked this summer this is what we used to see(on the top)... Beautiful sunrises! As the days and weeks have passed we now see the moon. Big it is not lucky and overcast.

A Best Friend!!!

 

A dog truly is a best friend!  Sabol was the model of the perefect dog!  We got Guinness at a VERY VERY young age!  We had to feed her one piece of food at a time because she did not know how to eat! Sabol took control and became her "mother".  We really never had to work on "potty" training with her because Sabol did all the work and would take her outside!  It was great!  We are in shock when we get our next puppy!!!  I don't think Guinness will be as motherly as Sabol was!!!

Sabol may have drove me nuts on MANY occasions but I could not have asked for a better dog!!  She went from being the QUEEN of the house with Just Jeff to having me move in, then Guinness and then Emma all within 2 years!  She was not bothered by any of it!  

She was AMAZING with kids!  When she was sick at the end she never flinched as Liam and Emma crawled all over her and Guinness chewed at her face!  She was just an amazing doberman!  She was nothing like the dobermans you see in movies!!!
