Beautiful Day for a Sleigh Ride

There is a beautiful park not far from our house and they have a sleigh ride in the winter.  Emma has been asking to go for about a month because she saw pictures from last year.  Saturday AM she woke up singing Jingle Bells and it was snowing so we thought what a perfect day to get bundled up and go on a sleigh ride!!
We got there and were the only ones there so it was perfect with no wait!

New Year!

So I completely lost my motivation to blog at somepoint last year and I would keep trying to play catch up and well that made me more unmotivated.  My goal is to get back on track and try to do it once a week so Liam and Emma can look back and see all the fun and exciting things we did... or didn't do:) 
Here we go starting fresh!  The new year has been off to a cold, freezing, bitter, RIDICULOUSLY FRIGID (according to our weather men) start!!  Emma and I went to see Frozen before Christmas so I told her it was like we were living in Elsa's ice castle because our garage door has been frozen shut for 2.5 days with the car in it!!  Before this FRIGID weather came the kids got to have some fun in the snow and sun before the rain washed it all away!

After some lunch and Liam went down for a nap, Emma and I headed to a BIG hill to go sledding:)

Liam has really enjoyed driving his tractor around!  He finally got the hand of it this fall.  Daddy put him right to work!!!

Pumpkin Patch time with preschool!

Emma got to have her first field trip to the Pumpkin Patch!  She was so excited!!!!  It was a bit windy and cool but a great day to be at a pumpkin patch and no rain is a huge plus!!!!
