Strawberry picking

trying to get all our summer stuff done in 3 weeks:)  I have about 1.5 weeks left:)!!!  The other weekend we went strawberry picking for the first time.  I wanted to go again but time moved too fast:(  Maybe we will get to blueberry picking...

HAPPY 4th of July

 Last Years Picture (below) I think it will be the last year they give eachother a kiss.  I think we will have to aim for sitting next to eachother:)

Really there are no words needed to tell you how excited they were for the parade or maybe to get all the candy!!!

fireworks- Gillie Lake

After getting the kids up at 5:30AM I had a brilliant idea to go see fireworks that night:)  Haha!  

My kids have never seen fireworks because it is too late for them!!!  (and me;)!!!)

 Maybe a little ice cream to bribe them in waiting awhile longer for the show!

Was such a pretty night!

They LOVED it!!!  I am glad it is only once a year that they need to stay up that late;)

 

Balloon Fest

The Ballon Fest finally had a perfect weekend!  It seems like most weekends they only get to take off once or twice.  This year was perfect!  We headed over to my parents on Friday Evening to go swimming and then watch them go up from their house.  Beats the crowd!!

 

 I noticed they were going up behind my parents so I told the kids hop in the car and see if we can chase the balloons.  It was so neat to see them all just floating above the trees looking for the perfect place to land!  We got to see this one land and the guy was nice enough to invite the kids right up to it and check it out!  It was so much fun!!!

 

Saturday AM I had a great idea;)  get the kids up at 5:30AM and head over and watch them take off in the AM.
