Can we really pack away snowsuits???

I can't believe it!!! We have been outside playing everyday this week and it has not been in the snow!!! What a crazy spring or lack of spring I should say!! Liam is going to be a BEAR getting him to come inside for bed. He LOVES it outside and is such a boy while he is out there! Emma was still napping the other day and he went out with Guinness for about 45 minutes just wandering around picking up who knows what and throwing it through the fence:)

He insisted on wearing his new raincoat:)  It has dogs on it of course!

If only all days can be the perfect we would have a wonderful spring/summer!!!

Sickness, sickness, sickness...

When I think about the last year and few months for Liam that what comes to mind.  Sad to think because he is just 2 : /  I am hoping that we are finding answers and coming to an end of this little guy being sick all the time!!
Today we went and met with the allergist/asthma dr.

 It was not so easy keeping him still and from touching his back.  He just wanted to lean against me and watch a show.   He did so good getting the pricks though!  I was so proud of him. 

After the allergy testing I had to take him for blood work.  He did great there although it was not a pretty sight.  The first guy had no clue what he was doing so another guy did it and it went quick but was A LOT of blood was taken:(  Hoping all the labs for any auto immune disease comes back clear and we just have a little boy with asthma that will hopefully grow out of it like his big cousin!!


This week has been great!  We have had some great spring weather... Rain and some sun!  I will take the rain because it is NOT snow:)!!!  Even broke out the short sleeve and sandals!!!  WOO HOO spring is COMING!!

As we all know there is a lot going on right now... I can't stop thinking about those that were injured in Boston and those that are in lock down and scared to death for their family.  I just hope this comes to an end soon for all those that are affected by this (which it looks like it might be coming to an end soon!).

I saw this on Facebook on Monday or Tuesday after the Boston Marathon bombing and loved the message and what a good reminder it is when something so horrible is going on!

 

What we have been up to...

We have spent a lot of time inside... it has been either snowing or raining.  I am not complaining about the rain because it is NOT snow:)  Our grass is already getting so green so I don't mind it at all!  We have been able to get a little outside time and then kids have LOVED it.  They have enjoyed the swings as well (don't have pictures of that)

We got to go to the zoo with the rest of CNY over spring break.  There was one nice day and EVERYBODY too advantage of it!!  We went super fast to get out of there:)

 

Liam and his best buddy Natalie.  He is in love with this little girl... As soon as she makes a peep he is sure to be right there by her side or runs to let me know she is up and then goes charging to the stairs!

Natalie tested out the exersaucer at our house and she approved!  So did Liam.  He loved the new cool toy that I took out!

Was trying to be like Natalie.  He said "Yook!!!  I bay-be Nah-leee!!

 Of course on the cold snowy rainy days we have to enjoy the bounce house!  It made an appearance after being packed away for a few months!  With Liam being sick all winter it had to be put away!  We have been over 2 weeks of no medicine so we broke this out and they have been having  blast!

Although this little cutie has been healthy for two weeks... He has been so sick for over a year now.  I honestly can not even begin to count how many trips to the dr's we have made or how many rounds of antibiotic he has had!  So... He is scheduled to get his adenoids out and to have his tubes putback in.  This is to hopefully make for a healthier summer  and year ahead of us!

I could not get over how big he looks and there were NO tears at the doctor!!!

Kim thought that Liam looked a bit like me and then I posted this picture and she really thought he did.  Not sure I see it but it is crazy how they can look just like Jeff one minute and then like me the next!!

 Face Time with Daddy!!

This week we have a "junk" pick up from our town and I thought it would be a good time to go through some things... junk!  I have bins and bins of school stuff that I kept and well when I go back to work it will be outdated.  I had also let the storage area of baby clothes get out of control on organized so I spent  a few nights down there doing that...  fun times!!  Wild and crazy nights here at the West Household!!!

This is just the clothes.... and a bin or two of school stuff. One day we will have our house back and I will miss all this clutter... right now I am beginning to suffocate from it all;)

We have only lived here 2.5 years but I decided it was finally time to decorate with some pictures.  I have a difficult time making decisions :)

I had done this date thing last year at some point and it hopped around from place to place.  I think it finally found its home ;)

  

My mom has a picture of her, my sister, my sister in law and I all on our weddings and I love it so I have wanted to do the same thing.  Finally getting around to it:)  My mom also had this picture of her parents on her wedding day and my dad's mom and dad.  I am trying to decide how do this...  In the middle we have our invitation from our wedding framed but I think I am going to put that somewhere else with just a picture from our wedding... decisions decisions:) I still have to order my picture from my wedding....  I sure know how to procrastinate)

 

 maybe I will get these on the wall in the next year or two;)

National Sibling Day

Apparently it was National Sibling Day on Wednesday.  What would I ever do without social Media???  I would never know of these very special days:)  I decided to see what I could dig up.  I did not want to embarrass myself yet so here are just a few pictures that I found.

Liam mimics EVERYTHING that Emma does... That is not always a good thing!!
This just cracks me up!  I know one day he will come across these and want to kill me but they are memories and Emma and I will find them funny I am sure;)  Sorry!

HOPPY HOPPY EASTER!

Happy Happy Easter!  This year was so much fun Emma and Liam.  They were a little slow on the egg hunt but had fun!  They were excited to open up the eggs and get what was inside!!

The Easter Bunny landed!

(was a little worried because before bed Emma told me all the Easter Bunny brings is juice boxes because that is what Grandma put in the baskets last year that she sent up.  I was worried there were going to be some tears because there weren't any of those this year!  I think she forgot about it with all the excitement of the day!!!  Before her nap today she told me the Easter Bunny forgot her juice boxes... oops!  Guess she didn't forget!!!  She then said it is ok  you and daddy can just go buy some!  Haha of course!  I will run right out and get you some!!!) 

Left them some tools in their gator to help daddy in the yard this spring/summer!

 Time for a CNY egg hunt!  At least the snow has melted!!

 Ready for church.  Ignore Emma's shoes that don't match!  I had shoes that I thought I could squeeze her foot into... I was wrong.  There was no squeezing her foot into them and Saturday night I was not going to go and buy white shoes that she would wear once. 

After church we had brunch here.  It was great... no arguing and the kids all went downstairs to play while the adults ate!  No interruptions;)

After naps we head to Mema and papas for egg hunt #2...

This little guy has so much character in that little body!!  I think there are going to be many calls and emails from teachers as he gets older!!

 IT would not be a day at Mema and Papa's without having a dance party in the room that the kids were never going to be allowed in... haha:)

What a fun day with all these little ones!  They played hide and seek while we got to eat another uninterrupted meal!  It was perfect and I never thought that would happen!!!
